Disney Admission is expensive no matter what you do.
However, there ARE some ways to save some money if you try.
DISNEY CLUB offers a discount, around 5% or so. It costs $39.95 a year to join, but you will gain that cost back in ticket and hotel discounts, not to mention discounts at Disney Stores, and some Downtown Disney stores.
AAA usually offer discounts on tickets to. Also around 5%. If you are a member, it is worth checking out.
Military discounts are available at Shades of Green, or possibly on your base.
Florida Residents get substantial discounts. However you have to show proof of residency.
Annual Passes can often pay for themselves if you are staying for more than 7 days, or will be returning within 12 months of your stay. This is the way I go. I think of day 7 as my break even day, and I don't feel pressured to be a "Disney commando" and stay in the parks all day, every day. Also, being a AP holder WILL save you money on your hotel stay.
You can combine your savings by showing your AAA card, or Disney Club Card when buying your Annual Pass.

Also, Canadians can buy tickets through the local Disney store without any taxes... So, if you live near the boarder, or perhaps know someone who does... nuff said.
I would stay away from those mall booths that offer free Disney Passes, they are usually tied into touring a time share location. I have heard of people suffering through a 90 minute hard sell, and then become stranded because the free transportation they offer will not return for another hour or two.
